Our school was founded by a group of forward-thinking parents in 1977. They recognised that strong, effective partnerships between parents and teachers are essential for children to achieve their greatest potential.

From birth to adulthood parents are the primary educators of their children. By forming a real partnership with parents, Rosemont gives students a powerful advantage.

Extra-Curricular: Each academic year, Rosemont School proudly stages an annual school musical, inviting students from 2nd to 6th year to participate.

Rosemont offers a vibrant choral program with Junior, TY, Senior, and A Capella choirs, providing students with diverse opportunities to explore their musical talents.

Rosemont’s debating clubs are a thriving part of our school community, with active Junior and Senior Teams.

We believe in the importance of stepping outside the classroom, having fun, and building friendships. Each year, every year group embarks on at least one enriching school trip, designed to complement their academic and personal development.

Rosemont’s Philosophy Club provides a space for students to engage in critical thinking, to discuss life, ethics, and reality.

Pastoral Care: Rosemont is focused on the all-round well-being of all students – physical, emotional, spiritual and academic.

Sports: Rosemont is dedicated to fostering a strong hockey tradition. Our teams compete in two to three leagues annually, including prestigious competitions such as the Leinster Schools Junior and Minor Leagues. Our players consistently demonstrate skill, determination, and teamwork upholding Rosemont’s reputation in excellence.

Rosemont’s basketball teams are actively engaged in two to three competitive leagues each year, including the South Dublin Basketball Junior League, Cadette League, and Senior League.

Netball is a cornerstone of our sports program here at Rosemont, and our teams continue to shine on the national stage.

Tennis is an integral part of the sports curriculum at Rosemont, with two well-maintained courts available on campus.
